Aluva, March 30-31, 2025: The St. Thomas Quasi Province (STQP) held its annual Seminary Meet, “VAMOS 2K25,” on March 30-31 at Rogate Ashram, Aluva. This year’s theme, “Hope” (Vamos – Let us go [with hope]), aligned with the jubilee year. The gathering aimed to foster companionship, enthusiasm, respect, diligence, belonging, Rogationist spirituality, emotional maturity, and community among minor seminarians from Rogate Bhavan, Mananthavady, brothers from Rogate Ashram, and formators.
The event commenced on March 30th at 11:30 AM with a welcome address by Fr. Robin Arackaparmabil, STQP’s councilor for Formation. Fr. Shajan, the Major Superior, officially inaugurated VAMOS 2K25 with a lamp-lighting ceremony, speech, and the unveiling of the program’s logo. Fr. Aneesh Kannampuzha (Superior, Rogate Ashram), Fr. Vineesh Naduvilpeedika (Superior, Rogate Bhavan Minor Seminary), Fr. Lijo Kalarickal (Vice-Superior, Rogate Ashram), Fr. Albin Elamthuruthiyil (Prefect of Students, Mananthavady), and other community members were present.
The program proceeded as scheduled, featuring a keynote address by Rev. Dr. Martin Kallunkal. Participants enjoyed sessions organized by the Rogate Ashram brothers, under the direction of Fr. Aneesh Kannampuzha, Fr. Lijo Kalarickal, and Akhil Vaipukattil.
Fr. Shajan distributed prizes and trophies to the winners of various games and cultural programs. Additionally, he launched “RHEMA,” the handwritten magazine of the Philosophy section.
