Rogate Social Service Center Aluva, 29 October 2016: Rogate Social Service Centre has organised a programme ‘Sandwanam: an act of mercy’ on 29 October 2016 at Rogate Ashram. This programme was mainly consisted of the hair donation for the cancer patients, presentation of the housing project in the future and presentation of the charitable donation to the poor families. The meeting was enriched with the presence of the distinguished guests like politicians, social empowerment leaders, priests and around 120 audience. The meeting began at 2:00 pm in the auditorium of Rogate Ashram with the inauguration of Mr.Anwar Sadath, the Member of Legislative Assembly. Rev.Fr.Shajan Pazhayil RCJ the major superior presided over the meeting. Fr.Xavier Kidagen, the spiritual director, presented the charitable donation to the people. The hair donation programme was successful with the whole hearted cooperation of more than 50 people. The meet was well organised by Fr.Doney Palakkuzha RCJ, the director of Rogate Social Service Centre with a group of Brothers in the Rogate Ashram.
