Punalur, Kollam
On Sundays, we have three masses. Two in the Main Church and one in the mission station. The mission station is 50 kilometres away from the main Church. One of us will go to the mission station every alternative Sunday. The time of the Sunday mass is 6:30 am and 8:30 am respectively. We have 108 families in this parish. There are around 50 children who are studying catechism from LKG to plus two. Every Sunday after the 8: 30 masses, we have a catechism class for the children. The main feast of the parish occurs in November on the Solemnity of Christ the King. Every year the fest is celebrated solemnly.
Together with the parish, we have a religious articles shop almost near the parish where we do our pastoral ministry. Fr Jomon takes care of the shop and it was blessed this year hoping to make it an income source for the sustenance of the province. By the grace of God and under the intercession of Fr Hannibal everything moves better and serene.
