May 10, 2025, Aluva: As part of the centenary celebrations of our beloved Father Founder St. Thomas Quasi Province organised a youth meeting titled “Waves of Hope” which was successfully conducted on May 10, 2025 at Aluva Rogatinsit Academy Auditorium. The event was organized under the guidance of the Rogate Empowerment Centre and was a moment of inspiration and joy for the young participants.
A total of 107 youth took part in the event, making it a vibrant and energetic gathering. The program was inaugurated by Fr. Varghese Panickassery, who also delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the mission and spirit of Rogationist charism.
The main session was led by Prof. Anson Kurumbathuruthu, a renowned motivational speaker from Kottappuram, who captivated the audience with his powerful message. Mr. Ansen John from Chalakkudy added life and color to the event with his skillful animation, action songs, and humorous interactions that deeply engaged the youth.
The Rogationist Brothers played a crucial role in inviting young people from various parishes, especially those where they are involved in Sunday ministries. Their dedicated efforts in coordinating and arranging the meeting ensured its smooth execution. They also conducted a series of fun-filled and meaningful games that fostered joy, teamwork, and reflection among the participants.
Special messages were delivered by Fr. Bruno Rambazzo (Superior General), Fr. Gilson (General Counsellor of Youth), and Fr. Shajan (Major Superior), who encouraged the youth to embrace the Rogationist spirit — becoming compassionate laborers and leaders in the vineyard of the Lord.
The meeting proved to be a fruitful and inspiring event, igniting a spark of hope and a sense of mission among the youth. It truly reflected the values of love, compassion, and commitment that are central to the Rogationist charism.
