January 2, Wayanad: The ordination of Rev Amal Kettupurackal was held on January 2 at his home parish, St Mary’s Church, Puthussery of Mananthavady Diocese. The celebration begun with the solemn procession of the Deacon and Celebrants to the church. The bishop of Mananthavady diocese, Mar Jose Porunnedom conferred the order of priesthood to Dn Amal. Fr Shajan was the Arch Deacon and Fr Justin Chauhan SSS the former Rector of Dn Amal in Sri Lanka, was the Concelebrant. There were many priests, sisters, brothers and his family and friends present for the Function.
