13.02.2024, Aluva: Fr Bruno Rampazzo, Superior General and Fr Brizzio Greco , General Treasurer, have reached India to make the first Canonical Visit of his mandate after he is reelected as the Superior General. They reached Cochin airport at 3.30 am and Fr Shajan, Fr Varghese, Fr Shaju and Fr Saji Kallookkaran welcomed them to our Quasi Province. Then they were fetched to Rogationist Academy Community where the accommodation for them is prepared. In the next day afternoon at 3.00 pm Fr General Officially started his canonical-visit with the liturgy of the afternoon of the sixth week of the ordinary time, with the councillors of STQP. Then, Fr Shajan Pazhayil welcomed officially Fr Bruno and Fr Brizzio to the Quasi Province. Immediately after that, Fr Bruno addressed the council and wished his warm greetings to everyone and invited all of us to share the report prepared. He wanted to be with the council and hear form us and thus he cut short the visiting of each community except formation houses to meet the formees as the duty of the General to hear them and motivate them. The meeting continued till 7.00 pm and adjourned for the day. Fr General will have the visit until 23rd of February and then he will go back to Italy. While he is in India he will visit the formation houses, the formees and the formators. Other communities and missionary stations will be visited if he gets another occasion.
