On the eve of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary three of our Religious brothers Bro. Albin Thoppil, Bro. Nikhil Attukkaran and Bro. Simoj Chakiath were raised to the Order of Diaconate by His Excellency Mar Mathew Vaniyakizhakkel in the Eucharistic Celebration held at Rogate Ashram Aluva. The brothers underwent three days of spiritual retreat in preparation to the first major order that they were going to receive. The Seminary Chapel was filled with family members, friends and other well wishers of the new Deacons. All were extended a grand welcome by the Superior of the Rogate Ashram, Fr. Saji Kappikuzhy. The Provincial Fr. Joby Kavungal, Vicar Provincial Fr. Varghese Panickassery and Rogationist priests were various communities have blessed the Liturgical celebration by being the concelebrants. The Community was so glad to have the presence of priests and sisters from various parishes for the ceremony. The celebration was ended with our priests, sisters and friends sharing the table with us.
