56th World Day of Prayer for Vocations

On 12thMay, which was the 56thWorld Day for Prayer for Vocation, the Rogationists were very delighted to join the Whole Church to pray to the Lord for harvest for many and holy vocations which itself is the very charism of the congregation. The prayer service organized by the Rogate empowerment center of St. Thomas Quasi Province, India, took place in the chapel of Rogate Ashram, Aluva. Religious and priests from different communities were invited and about a seventy of them turned up and joined their prayerful hands with the Rogationists beseeching the Lord to enrich His Church with many and holy vocations. Major Superior, Dr. Joby Kavunkal RCJ welcomed the group and Dr. Stanly Maathirapilly from Pastoral center, our invited speaker, shared his thoughts on Vocation. It was followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament raising all hearts and hands to the Lord obeying his command Rogate Ergo. The gathering ended with an Agape and the distribution of the Prayer tool kit which contained prayers, posters, adoration for vocation, message of the pope in multiple languages and Prayer book mark card etc.
